• All close physical contacts and household members must be treated at the same time, even if they have no symptoms.
• Clothes, towels, and bedding must be washed at 60°C or higher (or sealed in bags for 72 hours).
• Itching may continue for up to 4 weeks after successful treatment — this does not mean treatment has failed.
