Viagra (Sildenafil) contains the active ingredient Sildenafil used to treat erectile dysfunction/impotence. Erectile dysfunction means that you struggle get or maintain a full erection during sexual intercourse. Erectile dysfunction can be caused by several factors, however the common cause is due to the narrowing of the arteries which consequently restrict blood flow to the penis.

Viagra (Sildenafil) works by preventing the chemical in the body which is responsible for constricting the arteries and therefore restricting the blood flow to the penis. Viagra (Sildenafil) helps to increase the blood flow to the penis after stimulation and being aroused, which in turn helps in getting a full erection and the maintaining it.

Dosage

The starting dose of Viagra is 25-50mg.

Take Viagra one hour before sexual activity

Do not take Viagra (sildenafil) in combination with any other medication to treat erectile dysfunction.

Before Taking Viagra

• Read the patient information leaflet inside the Viagra box.
• Take the Viagra tablet exactly as our prescriber tells you to.
• Do not take Viagra tablets on a daily basis. We strongly advise against continuous use.
• You need to take Viagra tablets one hour before sexual activity.
• We advise you do not take more than one dose of Viagra within a 24 hour period.

Viagra is available in three different strengths; 25mg, 50mg and 100mg
