Opticrom (cromolyn sodium ophthalmic solution) is an anti-inflammatory medication used to treat allergy symptoms that affect the eyes, such as itching, burning, watering, swelling, redness, or sensitivity to light. Opticrom is available in generic form.
For the relief and treatment of itchy, irritated, allergic eyes due to hayfever, house mites and other particles e.g. pet hairs.
Sodium Cromoglicate 2.0% w/v. Soothing relief for itchy allergy eyes.
Usage
For external use only.
DOSE: 1 or 2 drops into each eye 4 times daily, or as directed by your doctor.
Always read the leaflet before taking this medicine.
CAUTIONS: Do not use this product if you are sensitive to any ingredient. (Listed on the side of the carton). Soft contact lenses should not be worn whilst using this product.
SEE YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST IF SYMPTOMS WORSEN OR PERSIST FOR MORE THAN 48 HOURS.
Storage
KEEP OUT OF THE REACH AND SIGHT OF CHILDREN. Store below 30°C. Keep the bottle in the outer carton. Use within four weeks of opening.
