What are Pepto Bismol Tablets used for

How do you treat indigestion?

You can do a few things to help to prevent indigestion. Loose weight if you are overweight. You could cut down on tea and coffee.

Another cause of heartburn is spicy foods. Try not to eat three or four hours before bed time. Stop smoking.

How do you use Pepto Bismol Tablets?

Chew or dissolve in mouth
Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 tablets every ½ to 1 hour as needed
Do not exceed 8 doses (16 tablets) in 24 hours
Use until diarrhoea stops, but not more than 2 days
Children under 12 years: ask a doctor
Drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration caused by diarrhoea
Use vitamins and supplements to help during times of illness.
