What is E45 Emollient Bath Oil used for?

How do I use Bath Oil?

Firstly use the measuring cup to add 15ml of bath oil into a full bath of water. Next have luxurious 10 minute soak in the bath. For children use 5-10ml of oil.

The NHS says; Emollients (E45 Emollient Bath Oil) are moisturizing treatments applied directly to the skin to soothe and hydrate it. They cover the skin with a protective film to trap in moisture. Emollients are often used to help manage dry, itchy or scaly skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and ichthyosis.

If you or your children need to use an emollient regularly, it’s a good idea to keep some in small pots or tubes at home, school or work.
