Oilatum cream, what does it do?

Use Oilatum to relieve itching. First of all, the cream soothes , softens and also re-hydrates dry skin. Furthermore it treats eczema and related conditions.

How do I use Oilatum Cream?

Apply to the affected area. Use as often as required or as directed by your pharmacist or doctor.

Oilatum Cream is especially effective if applied immediately after washing, to counteract the loss of essential oils from the skin. Oilatum Cream is suitable for children and babies.

The NHS says;

Emollients are moisturising treatments applied directly to the skin to soothe and hydrate it. They cover the skin with a protective film to trap in moisture. The use of emollients are to help manage dry, itchy or scaly skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and ichthyosis.

If you or your children need to use an emollient regularly, it’s a good idea to keep some in small pots or tubes at home, school or work.

Warnings or restrictions –

Warnings: Avoid using Oilatum Cream if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients. If an adult

uses this product whilst breast-feeding, wash all traces prior to feeding.
