What is Regaine For Women used for?

Regaine For women is a medicine used to treat common hereditary hair loss in women aged 18-65 years. Regaine For women prevents further hair loss and helps with hair regrowth.

What causes hair loss in women?

Hair loss is a natural process that occurs all the time. Hair loss can be a sign of an underlying condition. If you are loosing your hair in clumps or you develop bald patches, see your GP.

You may get thinning at the top of the head.

Circular or patchy bald spots.

An emotional shock can cause hair loss.

Scaling on the scalp can be a sign of ringworm.

Finally, chemotherapy for cancer can cause substantial hair loss.

How does Regaine For Women work?

The active ingredient in Regain is minoxidil which is thought to work by aiding the blood flow to the hair follicles on the scalp.

How do you use Regaine?

Do not use if you are pregnant or breast feeding.

Don’t use if you have any kind of dressing on your head.

Always take this medication as it has been prescribed to you by your doctor or pharmacist.

Large areas of hair loss will also benefit.

Regaine for Women is for topical and external use only. It should only be applied directly to the scalp area.

Avoid breathing in the spray whilst applying to the scalp. Do not apply Regaine for Women to areas of the body other than the scalp. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying the solution. Rinse other areas that have come into contact with the solution.

On a completely dry scalp and hair, apply a 1 ml dose to the total affected area twice daily using the best applicator for you. Leave at least 12 hours between each use and do not exceed 2 ml in a day.

How effective is Regaine For Women?

Regaine is the most effective for younger women with thinning hair.

You may need to use Regaine for Women for 2 months before you see new hair growth.

When you stop using this medicine, the hair that has re-grown may disappear after 3-4 months and the balding / hair loss process will continue.
