Description
What is Levitra and what is it used for?
Levitra contains Vardenafil, a member of a class of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors. They are used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (impotence) in adult men, a condition which implies difficulties in getting or keeping an erection.
At least one in ten men has trouble getting or keeping an erection at some time. There may be physical or psychological causes, or a mixture of both. Whatever the cause is, due to muscle and blood vessel changes not enough blood stays in the penis to make it hard and keep it hard.

Levitra will only work when you are sexually stimulated. It reduces the action of the natural chemical in your body which makes erections go away. Levitra allows an erection to last long enough for you to satisfactorily complete sexual activity. Levitra works by increasing blood flow to the penis, allowing the two large chambers to fill up more effectively. The result is a harder, longer lasting erection for a more enjoyable sexual experience. Erectile dysfunction treatments are intended to improve confidence and leave a man feeling more comfortable and relaxed in their sex life.
Levitra (vardenafil) usually enables an erection to be achieved quicker and last longer than with Viagra (sildenafil). Levitra Side effects experienced are also typically milder than those with Viagra.
Levitra is also a more suitable impotence medication than Viagra for diabetics and those with either high cholesterol or high blood pressure. It can be used:
By men of all ages
No matter how severe erectile dysfunction may be
By men who have undergone a prostatectomy or have had partial removal of their prostate
Levitra with food, drink and alcohol
You can take Levitra with or without food – but preferably not after a heavy or high-fat meal as this may delay the effect.
Don’t drink grapefruit juice when you use Levitra. It can interfere with the usual effect of the medicine.
Alcoholic drink can make erection difficulties worse.
