Do I need both an internal and an external treatment?
If you have internal vaginal symptoms such as discharge and deep soreness, an internal treatment may be needed alongside the external cream. If symptoms are only external, the cream alone may be enough.
How quickly will symptoms improve?
Many people feel relief within 24 to 48 hours. Continue using the cream for several days as directed, even if you feel better.
Can this cream be used by male partners?
Yes, for symptomatic candidal balanitis. Apply two or three times daily for up to seven to fourteen days.
Will it affect condoms?
Some topical products can weaken latex condoms and diaphragms. Consider alternative protection during treatment and for a few days after.
What if symptoms persist or keep coming back?
If symptoms have not improved after seven to fourteen days, or if they recur frequently, arrange a review with your GP to confirm the diagnosis and discuss prevention and further treatment.
