A urinary tract infection (UTI) is a common infection affecting the bladder and urethra. It is particularly common in women. Symptoms typically include pain or burning when urinating, increased frequency, and sometimes lower abdominal discomfort. Most uncomplicated UTIs respond well to appropriate treatment.
Seek urgent medical attention if you experience high fever, severe back or side pain, blood in your urine, vomiting, or if you are pregnant and suspect a UTI.
This service is primarily for women aged 16-65 with uncomplicated lower UTI symptoms. Men, pregnant women, and those with recurrent or complicated UTIs should consult their GP.
Trusted by over 35,000 patients. Fast, discreet treatment when clinically appropriate.
