Maloff protect 250mg/100mg is a different brand of Malarone containing a combination of atovaquone and proguanil. It is exactly the same but cheaper and is also available over the counter.
Atovaquone and proguanil are medications used to treat malaria, a disease caused by parasites which typically enter the body through the bite of a mosquito. Malaria is common in areas such as Africa, South America, and Southern Asia.
How to Take Maloff protect 250mg/100mg
When taking this medicine, drink it with food or with a dairy product at approximately the same time every day.
Before you go to a known malaria carrying area, it is advisable to take the medication 1 to 2 days prior to entry and up to one week after leaving.
Compared to other anti-malaria medication, the side effects of this drug aren’t as severe.
