What is Levocetirizine 5mg?

Levocetirizine is the active ingredient and the generic version of Xyzal.

Levocetirizine is an antiallergic medication. For the treatment of signs of illness (symptoms) associated with:

allergic rhinitis (including persistent allergic rhinitis);

nettle rash (urticaria).

Levocetirizine 5 mg tablets are prescribed to treat the cold-like symptoms of allergic rhinitis.

Levocetirizine relieves symptoms such as a stuffy, itchy or runny nose, sneezing, and itchy, watery eyes.

These tablets treat allergic rhinitis symptoms caused by year round allergies and seasonal allergies like hayfever.
