About the product
Avamys (fluticasone furoate) is a nasal spray for adults and children over 6 years old and is used to treat the symptoms of allergic rhinitis which include stuffy, runny or itchy nose, sneezing and watery, itchy/red eyes. It is part of a group of medicines called glucocorticoids and it works by reducing inflammation and diminishing the symptoms of allergies, helping to clear the nasal passages that are affected by reactions such as hay fever.
Allergy symptoms are more prevalent at certain times of the year and be caused by reactions to pollen from grass and trees (hay fever) or they can be a year-round issue due to common allergies from pets, house dust, mites or mold.
